Agadir in 3 Days: The Perfect Itinerary by Car

Veröffentlicht am 3. August 2026 6 Min. Lesezeit

Three days is enough to enjoy Agadir itself and the best of its surroundings — if you have a car. Here is an easy itinerary that mixes the city, the mountains and the coast.

Day 1 — Agadir city and beach

Start slow: the long sandy beach and the marina in the morning, then lunch by the water. In the afternoon drive up to Agadir Oufella (the rebuilt kasbah) for the panoramic view over the bay, and finish at Souk El Had, one of the largest markets in Morocco, for spices, argan oil and souvenirs.

Day 2 — Paradise Valley and Taghazout

Head inland in the morning to Paradise Valley for a swim in the palm-lined rock pools, then drive back to the coast for the afternoon in Taghazout — surf, beach cafés and one of the best sunsets on this coast. Both are a short, scenic drive from Agadir.

Day 3 — Souss-Massa or Essaouira

Choose your pace. For nature and quiet, drive south to Souss-Massa National Park for birdlife, dunes and empty beaches. For a classic day trip, drive up the coast to Essaouira — the blue-and-white port city, its medina and grilled-fish lunch — and back by evening.

Why a rental car makes this work

These spots are spread out, and taxis or organised tours cost more while tying you to someone else's schedule. With a car you go at your own pace and see far more in three days. Collect it at Agadir airport with meet-and-greet and you are exploring within minutes of landing.
