The Security Deposit When You Rent a Car in Agadir
Like every rental agency in Morocco, SiramoDrive takes a refundable security deposit when you collect the car. What is different is that you know the exact amount before you book, and nothing else is added at the counter.
The deposit covers damage not paid by the insurance, fines received during your rental, and missing fuel. It is returned in full when the car comes back as it left.
Known before you book
The amount for your car is shown on the booking page and in your confirmation. No surprise at pick-up.
Card hold or cash
Taken at pick-up as a pre-authorisation on a bank card, or in cash if you prefer.
Returned after inspection
We check the car together at return. A card hold is released the same day; cash is handed back on the spot.
Free cancellation
Nothing is taken when you book. Cancel free up to 48 hours before pick-up.

Amounts are per rental, not per day, and are not added to the rental price. Loyalty members at VIP level rent with no deposit.
Security deposit — questions
How much is the deposit?
It depends on the car and is listed above and on each car page. It is shown again before you confirm your booking.
When is it taken and when is it returned?
At pick-up, by card pre-authorisation or in cash. It is returned after we inspect the car at return: a card hold is released the same day, cash is handed back immediately.
Can I pay the deposit without a credit card?
Yes. A debit card pre-authorisation or cash is accepted. Tell us at booking which you prefer.
What can be deducted from it?
Damage not covered by the insurance you chose, traffic fines received during the rental, missing fuel, and cleaning if the car is returned exceptionally dirty. Anything deducted is itemised with you at return.
Is there a way to rent without a deposit?
Members at the VIP level of our loyalty programme rent with no deposit. Everyone else pays the refundable amount shown for the car.
